Meet Molly Bravo
Founder and Creative Spirit behind Wylder Space
Back in 2004, I had this wild dream that wouldn't let me go. I wanted to show people the magic of real food – not just what ends up on their plate, but the whole beautiful journey from our farmers and how we source ingredients, to the meals we choose to nurture people with. For nearly 20 years now, I've been on an incredible adventure, getting my hands dirty in the real food movement, supporting our local CSAs. Food is and always will be, my medium for connection.
This journey took an unexpected turn when I sat down to interview my 88-year-old father. What started as a simple desire to preserve his stories for my son Spicoli blossomed into something much bigger. As I began collecting wisdom from our elders – their stories of growing food, cooking from scratch, and gathering around tables – I realized this was exactly what I'd been trying to share through Wylder Space all along.
Today, our mission has deepened. Whether we're catering your special event or sharing the wisdom of our elders through our "Nourishing Traditions" course, we're all about getting back to our roots. The way our grandparents did things – simple, intentional, connected to the land and to each other.
From our little slice of paradise in the Santa Cruz Mountains, we're preserving traditions, building community, and bringing people back to what matters most: real food, prepared with love.
At Wylder Space, every gathering we cater and every tradition we teach is an invitation to step out of the rush and into a slower, simpler way of being.
As always, it's an honor to connect and we're so grateful to have this opportunity to cook for you 💜
